You are invited to a Missouri- Kansas SDA Member Meeting...
Please come join in the fun!
On Sunday, April 7, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., we
are getting together to meet & visit at the Kansas City Art
Institute Fiber Department Building, a newly renovated warehouse space
located at 4218 Walnut, Kansas City, MO 64111. Come see the new studio
space and gallery and co-mingle with your fellow SDA members.
On the agenda will be a casual information
presentation about the upcoming conference in San Antonio, a hands-on
viewing of the member swatch collection, and time to meet and share your
work with others.
Please feel free to bring an interested
friend who may be thinking of joining SDA. It would be great if everyone
could bring a finger-food style appetizer or dessert. Water, plates and
napkins will be provided. It will be a great time to connect with other
creative people with similar interests; also if you are considering the
conference you may find someone to share accommodations, rides, etc.
It should be a fun afternoon, well spent!
Please email Mary Elmusa,
KS Rep if you have any questions or suggestions. Looking forward to
seeing you all there! If possible, please bring a sample of your work
for intro and sharing session!
Or contact Maryann Hammond, MO Rep ( maryann4art@hotmail.com )
We should have "handouts" about the Conference for you to take home with you...
